5 Stars: What an amazing place to stay.  We just spent 4 nights here.  Kyle and Marissa are amazing owners who care about the property and all who stay there.  Great for our time on the Gorge.  Close enough to get to everything, but off the road enough to not have to deal with freeway and railway noise.  A beautiful property, great facilities, and plenty for our kids to do…playground, horseshoes, and just enjoying the space.  No doubt, the best place to stay on the Gorge. – Jeff (San Diego, CA)

5 Stars: We stayed at this campsite on a hunch that serene wooded area would be more desirable than nestled by train tracks. What a find! The new owners, Marissa and Kyle were delightful. They have a plan and have made many improvements with more on the way. The grounds are gorgeous and kept in pristine condition. Hookups have all been upgraded. The camp dog, Buddy, is a big gentle fluff of love. Restaurant recommendation was great in Stevenson and we were even given a discount by the camp owners. It was called El Rio. Great place to stay for campers or tent dwellers. Highly recommend it!!- Natalie F (Santa Rosa, CA)

We LOVE the proximity to everything in the Gorge from this wonderfully hidden campground !  It is especially close to our favorite salmon fishing, which is on the Wind River.  No doubt the nicest tent spots we’ve seen & very nice, private & large RV spaces.  Everything is SO great, SO quiet & super clean / with NO railroad noise!  Yay — heavenly sleep to be had!  Lovely owners, too: Leroy & now, the lovely new owners Kyle & Marissa!  Timberlake is a  fabulous spot to camp in the Gorge! -Dianne (Portland, OR)

The Washington State Geocaching Association held their annual campout at Timberlake Campground this year. It was by far the best site we have ever had since we started holding them 10 years ago. Timberlake is a beautiful, clean and well maintained campground. LeRoy is wonderful to work with and was very accommodating while working with our large group. He made sure everyone was personally greeted and that if anyone needed anything it was taken care of in a timely manner. From all the good comments that our members have made during and after the campout, we will have a hard time finding another campground to compare to Timberlake next year.

We discovered Timberlake Campground while looking for a site for the WSGA Annual Campout. We loved the picturesque, quite surroundings that Timberlake Campground had to offer. After our campout was over this summer we decided to come up for the costumer appreciation weekend to relax, enjoy ourselves after all the hard work we put in as hosts. We enjoyed the cider pressing, BBQ & potluck along with the musical entertainment on Saturday. We plan on coming back often and suggest if you are looking for nice getaway and enjoy camping it’s not far from Vancouver/Portland area. Timberlake is the place for you!!!

As everyone has said, this is a great place to stay and part of what makes that is, LeRoy. He Drove me around to find just the right shaded site for my Bike And Trailer and then followed me back and helped me push in my Motorcycle Tent Trailer into the Site. You don’t get that kind of service anymore, but you do here. LeRoy is a Great guy. I will be back…

I enjoyed my stay at Timberlake immensely and I plan on coming back again and again. It was very peaceful, beautiful and clean! I was extremely impressed with the friendliness of LeRoy and the camp hosts which made me feel very welcome.
I love the fact that they have themed weekends and would love to suggest a weekend for Women only (in a part of the campground) where women can get together with their small RVs and socialize together.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend that I will remember for a long time to come.

Great place. So nice to see the owner out with the campers. As I’m typing this the camp host is helping someone with their satellite dish. Great to see. Even Timber the cat is entertaining. This is one of THE BEST and CLEANEST RV/campgrounds we’ve ever visited…in the country. My husband and I regularly car camp and travel across the United States in the summers and like quiet, beautiful, reflective locations. Timberlake met all these needs and more. Great owners, immaculate facilities & grounds, gorgeous/private tent sites, and reasonable prices. If you are traveling through the area stay here! You will not find this kind of quiet, solitude, beauty, and customer service at any other RV park nearby! Thanks Leroy!

What a beautiful, clean, friendly park! We were greeted and escorted to our campsite – where our things were driven down to our site – and were delighted to find our tent pad lined with fresh cedar chips (dry and soft!) The bathrooms were “white glove clean” and the showers were hot! Thank you for a great weekend! We will be back…

We had a very pleasant stay at Timberlake, camping four nights in our tent. The campground is in a convenient location, a short drive to all the places we visited and hiked in the Gorge, and it’s also very quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms with hot showers are big and clean. The whole campground is really tidy, and the caretaker LeRoy is a fine host and very helpful. Thank you for a very memorable time in the beautiful Columbia Gorge.

Clean, quiet & well kept! We had 3 families stay for the weekend – close to home & great for a quick camping trip. The kids loved playing in the woods & building forts! The sites are big for the truck & trailer & still plenty of room for making smores over the fire pits!
We will definately be back!

Thank you so very much for a Beautiful place to camp!! We enjoyed ourselves so much, we made reservations to come back in April, hoping the robin we watch build a nest has chicks. We bought our brand new 22′ Travel Trailer in January and just now had a chance to use it. We told our friends, neighbors and family members about Timberlake and Timber the cat, they too will visit.

Nice quiet, well-kept campground and clean facilities. Loved the sites, lots of trees but good clearance for our RV. Easy to get to, yet away from the hustle-bustle. We plan on returning every fall as it’s just a stone’s throw to the Hood River Valley and great fishing nearby also. But mostly – it was quiet and pretty.

We loved our stay at Timberlake. The facilities were all neat and clean and Management did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Our dog had a beautiful running area which is rare in most parks. We will be staying again in 2010.
